Foundation Stage Profile

82% of children achieved a ‘Good Level of Development’ compared to 72% nationally. The Good Level of Deveopment measure is one indicator of school readiness used by schools.

Phonic Screening Check (Year 1)

82% of pupils met the expected standard of phonic decoding at the end of Year 1 compared to 82% nationally.

Key Stage One (Year 2)

Reading

63% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard in reading compared to 75% nationally with 24% of pupils working at greater depth (25% nationally).

Writing

50% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard in writing compared to 69%  nationally with 13% of pupils working at greater depth (15% nationally).

Mathematics

67% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard in maths, compared to 76% nationally with 15% of pupils working at greater depth (22%).

Combined R,W & M

46% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined, compared to 65% nationally.

 

Key Stage Two (Year 6)

Reading

78% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard for reading, compared to 73% nationally. 29% of pupils reached the higher standard compared to 27% nationally.

Writing

89% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard for writing, compared to 78% nationally. 24% of pupils reached the higher standard compared to 20% nationally.

Mathematics

89% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard for mathematics, compared to 79% nationally. 20% of pupils reached the higher standard compared to 27% nationally.

Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling

89% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard for GPS, compared to 78% nationally. 56% of pupils reached the higher standard exceeding the national figure of 36%.
