Foundation Stage Profile

77% of children achieved a ‘Good Level of Development’ compared to 71% nationally. 

Phonic Screening Check (Year 1)

67% of pupils met the expected standard of phonic decoding at the end of Year 1 compared to 83% nationally.

Key Stage One (Year 2)

Reading

78% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard in reading compared to 75% nationally, with 31% of pupils working at greater depth.

Writing

58% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard in writing compared to 70%  nationally, with 11% of pupils working at greater depth.

Mathematics

73% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard in maths, compared to 76% nationally, with 24% of pupils working at greater depth.

Combined R,W & M

56% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined, compared to 65% nationally.

 

Key Stage Two (Year 6)

Reading

61% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard for reading, compared to 75% of pupils. 22% of pupils reached the higher standard compared to the national figure of 28%.

Writing

63% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard for writing, compared to the national figure of 78% of pupils. 20% of pupils reached the higher standard matching the national figure of 20%.

Mathematics

63% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard for mathematics, compared to the national figure of 76% of pupils. 29% of pupils reached the higher standard exceeding the national figure of 24%.

Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling

71% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard for GPS, compared to the national figure of 78 of pupils. 37% of pupils reached the higher standard exceeding the national figure of 34%.

Combined R,W & M

59% of pupils achieved at least the expected standard for reading, writing and mathematics combined, compared to the national figure of 64% of pupils. 10% of pupils reached the combined higher standard matching the national figure of 10%.
